Insurer Filing

South Dakota, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Oklahoma are requesting non-admitted insurers who are writing business in the respective states to begin reporting certain non-admitted policy data for the year 2024 and going forward. This data is necessary to reconcile the premiums written by non-admitted insurance companies with the premiums reported by non-admitted premium tax filers, including surplus lines agents/brokers, direct procurement filers, and risk purchasing groups.

Insurers can submit policy data via SLIP or XML batch filing. To register for a SLIP account, please visit the SLIP login page and click “Register”. For more information on XML batch filing, please visit the SLAS Batch Filing page or contact the SLAS staff at batchfiling@slasclearinghouse.com. XML batch filers can download a list of surplus lines agents in SLIP. The list can be found on the Batch Filing page in SLIP, under the Policy tab.
